The two photos below are of a dust devil that swept up the red
sands on the fringe of the Gibson Desert North of Kalgoorlie

These whirlwinds also go by the names of "willy willy"
and "cock eyed bob" in Western Australia.

Two warnings about trying to photograph these.
1. Watch out for flying objects.
2. Be ready to have to pull apart your camera to get the
dust out of it!
