This was a hard photo to take.

I had to react when I saw the strike. I don't use a
lightning trigger so what you see here is from quick reflexes.

I inspected the strike point, courtesy of the Sheraton Hotel
in Perth.
Below is a photo of the place it struck.



It is interesting that even though there were lightning
conductors all around the building it connected with
the chimney stacks.
